Also because the problem you are facing is with SIG and not with SIG Pro this topic is moved to the appropriate section of the forum.
If you like to purchase the Pro version please do snd check if the problem remains. With the Pro version it's more likely that you won't have a problem while it's a little different with the free version.

I am testing in Firefox but the problem is also present in Opera. The hover problem does not seem to be there in IE7/8 or Safari.
OK, thanks. The URL is www.acdorchester.org.uk/memories/196-galleries.html. Please note I am making this menu item temporarily "Memories" public to enable you to see this. The sig gallery if the first on the page (the other galleries are BK-thumb (multithumb) but that plugin is disabled).

a:hover, a:active, a:focus {
background:#B9C0F7 none repeat scroll 0 0;
color:#0B1560;
text-decoration:none;}
If you remove background:#B9C0F7 none repeat scroll 0 0; you will not have any problem. Differently you can add an id -that does not affect FPSS styling-in front of the a element so as to solve the conflict.

Can this file be moved (from the popup_engines/mootools_slimbox/css folder) to the templates area like the jw_sigpro folder? So that when I upgrade it won't change.

It solved by adding Background:none; to slimbox.css line: #lbPrevLink, #lbNextLink{display:block;position:absolute;top:0;width:50%;outline:none;background:none;}.
2011 install of SIG Pro in Joomla 1.7, astonished that I had to spend time finding this fix and applying it manually, given that the issue of the overlay misbehaviour has been cropping up since 2008. Thankful nevertheless that the solution was available to find.
