Images show ok but thumbnails dont... was created by Panagiotis Koukos
The common (as i have read in the forum) problem. Thumbnails not showing but large images do. Permissions are ok, everything that needed to be installed are but yet nothing. And also strange is tha little box next to the thumbnail that shows a mini thumb of the image!! Searched entire forum but dont think someone has found a solution. No need to say that older version worked...

Was the problem solved? I'm having the same issue.
I'm using the pro version and it works fine on another site of mine but not the one I'm working on right now. I'm puzzled. I have the same exact problem as you.

Can someone please post a solution to this. I am having similar issues.
One hack I did perform was changing the root folders. I made it so a Jomsocial user can upload pics to his profile and they would automatically be displayed in the gallery. The thumbs show up as blank rectangles with shadows, when I click the rectangle it displays the picture perfectly fine with all the text suggestions and 'breadcrumbs'....

Than:
$_image_ = '/../images/photos/'.$_GET;

I suspect the problem is not with your changes but elsewhere since I'm having the same issue and I didn't make any changes to the code.
I'm pretty sure that my config is right since I've have successfully used this plugin for another site that I created.
