Hello.

The SIG plugin is activated, but K2 doesn't recognize it : (in French)
"Avertissement: Vous devez installer le plugin Simple Image Gallery (Gratuit/Pro) de JoomlaWorks si vous voulez utiliser les fonctionnalités de galerie d'images de K2!"

The code {gallery}mydirectory{/gallery} shows only ... the code.

Where can be the problem ?

I have hunted in forums and found confusing answers (many) about changing code to solve this issue. It appears as if some people have solved this problem but it would be very helpful if the developers of this great extension made the changes so as to accommodate new users of K2.

I have installed SIG successfully but K2 cannot see this?

I have this very same problem and was about to post a new topic for it. I will post a few things that has happened to me since instailing k2 as there might be some similarities with the three of us and maybe it will help.

1. When I installed K2 i got this message.
Now i am new to Joomla so i am not sure if should have installed Joom!Fish first. When i posted this on the K2 forum I was told not to worry about it. I am also worried if i do find that i need this later if i will need to reinstall K2

2. I tried to install to install JCE Advanced Link plugin. I wanted to be able to link k2 items in other items using this plugin but i got this error messageI posted this in the k2 forum but no one has helped as yet. I am trying to sort it out myself.

3. And now after a successful install of Simple Image Gallery, K2 does not recognize it.

Does anyone have a fix for this?

Ok guys I have found a fix to the problem. I guess it was simple enough if i looked through the forums first. Ok the fix can be found in the topic by Geoffww " The Fix "
