I am using Simple Image Gallery plug-in with Joomla 1.5.15, and my host (SiteGround) tells me that every time a page loads with a display of say, 10 thumbnails, that page load counts as 10 script executions.  This is a serious issue because SiteGround limits the number of script executions per hour and per day, so if a lot of people visit a gallery page with many thumbnails, that will vastly multiply my script executions and threatens to put me over the daily limit.

Besides leaving SiteGround, does anyone have any ideas on how to modify SIG so that it does not generate multiple script executions with every page load?

My advice is to change scripts.

The simple Image Gallery Script is THE worst written script I have ever used. I came here for a quick fix for a client and after looking at how garbage this is written there is no way I would ever consider purchasing anything form joomlaworks.

It executes the script for every image ( horrible)
It executes the same css file for every tag ( retarded)
It does not adhere to any doctype or standards ( putting <b> in php...really??? )

I found a much better plugin:

It's much better -- only one script execution, and it plays all the photos in a plug-in, slide-show format.  Easy to use and customizable.  No thumbnails.

I haven't had problems with another Joomlaworks plugin (All Videos), but this plug-in not very good.
