I already use Simple Image Gallery in several websites, and it works fine.

Today, I installed SIG, just downloaded from Joomlaworks, and it doesn't work at all, on any of my sites in construction with wamp. I get messages like this :

...
Of course, the plugin is activated, and the {gallery}images/stories/photos{/gallery} are in the items. Tested on several sites in construction, and with several templates.
What happens ?

Do you have GD library installed in your site?

Provide me with a link to it?

If I knew what a GD library is, I could tell you.
My sites are on localhost, wamp, on which I had no problem with SIG until now.
So, I can't give you a link.
The module Simple Image Rotator is on these sites too, but the problem is still there when it's not activated.
Last minute : I uninstalled S.I.R, and SIG still doesn't work.

Do you have GD library installed?
Also use .jpg instead of .jpeg images please.
