Just not working was created by CH International (NZ) Ltd

Alright, I've installed and published the mambot, and uploaded three jpeg images to /images/stories/mypictures (permission 777, same with the images) and inserted the code {gallery}mypictures{/gallery} into my article, and nothing happens. :(

I'm not trying to use it with the image or header rotators, so I really have no idea what the problem is.

It looks like you've got spaces in the gallery tags:
{ gallery }babies{ /gallery } should be {gallery}babies{/gallery}.

I hope that works for you as I've got the same problem (code appearing) but I haven't got the spaces in the tags.

Hi,

Recently got on to Joomla!
I have successfully installed Joomla![ ver 1.5 with wamp5]. Was trying to use SIG, but nothing happens it prints the it as text --> "{gallery}pics{/gallery}.

I have tried with removing spaces in the tag.
No clue where am i going wrong?!?! ???

Can someone show a sample code as to how and where exactly to write it?

Joomla 1.5 is not supported yet.

Also, prefer XAMPP than WAMP.

PS: WAMP is the old project of XAMPP

Had the same problem. Went to went to the SIG Mambot/plugin control, changed it to published. It now works great.

I checked the instructions and there is nothing for us newbies about publishing ;-)

Hopefully that is the reason for your problem too .... ;D

Hey thanks! panosru.. I switched to 1.0 and the plugin(mambot) started working.
But it wud have great to see SIG work with ver 1.5. :D

All of our plugins, commercial and free, will work with Joomla 1.5 we just waiting Joomla 1.5 to released as a stable final release. Also more plugins will come in the future!
