Simple Image Gallery with Joomla 1.5.22 worked great for me from day one.
Today noticed a small problem, and I am sure someone can help suggesting a way out.
I notice that a portion of the head in an image thumbnail gets cut.
I looked at the sizes of those pictures. Invariably they were portrait type. In other words, height was greater than width.
Landscape images where height was smaller than width were looking fine in thumbnail view.
I did realize that it could be because all thumbnails are invariably squarish in their shape. In other words, thumbnails reduce the images in proportion to the smallest side.
Other software that I have worked with so far invariably offered an option to choose if I wanted resizing the image in equal proportion.
I was wondering if there is somewhere in Simple Image Gallery this option of "equal proportion" is also available?
If yes, I would appreciate someone telling me where to find this setting?
