I am creating a joomla site (1.5)www.kimhadley.ca/cougar for a client where we are pulling in feeds from a type pad blog she's had for a few years. I was able to pull in a feed from a category no problem www.kimhadley.ca/cougar/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=229&Itemid=249 (this a feed from the finance category of her type pad blog www.therealcougarwoman.com/Finance/.

the problem comes when trying to pull in a feed from wordpress. We have transported all her data to a worpress blog realcougarwoman.wordpress.com/ as that's the direction we want to move toward. But somehow even tho the feed from the worpress blog only shows that category's items realcougarwoman.wordpress.com/category/anti-aging/feed/ , the final display on our joomla site is a jumble of posts, from all sorts of categories. www.kimhadley.ca/cougar/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=273&Itemid=287

has anyone experienced such a problem?

I had a similar problem on an old site  <a href="www.computerreviewsx.com">iPad vs iPad 2. I finally scapped the whole idea, but I'm sure someone with more expertise can figure it out.

It will drive you crazy; that's for sure.
