I have recently upgraded my site to J2.5.17 and installed the most recent version of RSS Feed Reader 3.0. I noticed that the reader is not updating the feed. I found that if I play around with the settings for the module and then save, it will update... but that is the only way it updates. I also have the settings to take only 1 post from each feed, but it appears it is taking the most recent post from any of the feeds. I have looked at other posts in this forum and saw similar problems, but am not sure if it is the same as mine.

I am using PHP 5.4.22 & MySQL 5.5.35

Is there a solution to this problem?

Thanks,

Tim

Hello Tim,

The most recent post issue will solved in the next release.
As for the caching. Make sure you ave the correct settings both in the module cache settings and the module options.

Thanks,

I look forward to the updated release. Any idea on a time for release of the update?

Your issues are mostly related to caching I presume. Can you send us a screenshot of your module parameters to check how it's set up?

Hello!
I remove line 118 in helper.php and now work refresh every 30 min (set in parameters). Before refresh work in 30 min * 60 = 1800 min = 30 hour.
