Joomla 3.x site used Simple RSS Reader for at least a year and suddenly it stopped displaying feeds. It only displays the description text at the top of the feeds block and nothing else.

I upgraded the module to v.3.5 with no change.

I tried different RSS feeds and couldn't get any to work.

I updated Joomla to 3.5.1 and all my other extensions are up to date. I'm running out of ideas.

Suggestions? Thank you.

Tried several more RSS feed URLs (including default JoomlaWorks) - feed not displaying

Forgive my ignorance, but I'm not sure where PhP or Javascript errors would be reported.

Additional/new information:

1. I tried restoring my site from (3) different Akeeba backup files. In all three files I restored, the problem is still presenting.
2. I tried using the Joomla core RSS reader and it too displays only the title and no feed.

You can check the console tab of your developer tools for javascript issues. For PHP errors check that the error reporting is on through your Joomla Global Configuration.

• The console tab of Developer Tools is showing no Javascript issues.
• I have error reporting set to Maximum and it's not reporting anything.

• The database is reporting this error:
Warning: Database is not up to date!
Table 'aen_redirect_links' does not have column 'new_url' with type 'VARCHAR(2048)'. (From file 3.5.0-2016-03-01.sql.)

I tried the FIX button, but the error message remains.

It appears after updating Simple RSS Reader to version 3.5 that my RokAjaxSearch stopped working.
