Upgrading to v.3.5 and custom templates was created by Basil Clarke
Hi,

I'm using Simple RSS reader with a custom template. I've updated to 3.5 on my development website and things look OK, but it could be that I'm missing some new functionality because the template that I'm using hasn't been updated.

Could you advise? Are there changes to the default templates that I need to incorporate into my custom template? For instance, you say you've fixed the issue with the cache times, but I assume that fix is in another part of the extension?

Grateful for any advice.

Basil

PS Excellent extension!

Further to my original question:

On my development website I've switched the SimpleRSS modules to use the Default template. Image resizing is not working at all.

Just done what I should have tried before - compared the default template php file from 3.5 with the same file in 3.3. I see they are identical apart from line 50, so I'll make the same change in my custom file.

Hello Basil,

Can you send me a URL of your site with the module present?
