redir.php Issues was created by Dan Walker
We were just checking out backlinks on a site that was using Simple RSS Feed Reader at ahrefs.com. Turns out porn sites are trying to use redir.php links on their sites. For example: www.lifechurchstlouis.org/modules/mod_jw_srfr/redir.php?url=https://pornaaa.com . The file redir.php doesn't do anything except type "No direct access." Since the file doesn't do anything, why is it in the module? We are going to remove it so that these links give a 404. We advise you to remove it from the module.

The file is intentionally empty to disable its previous functionality as a proxy for redirecting feed links. If it's not there, it does not overwrite the old file and as such leaves the proxy open. So, this issue has been sorted a long time ago.

You can of course delete the file.
