Error using RSS 2.1 JFTP::mkdir: Bad response was created by hellreturn
As soon as I enable module I get this error:
JFTP::mkdir: Bad response
JFTP::mkdir: Bad response
JFTP::mkdir: Bad response
I had no error before using 1.5 version.
I uninstalled old version first and then added new version. Any idea whats wrong?

I tried everything and no success. More or less even RSS format is too bad.

Are you sure that this error caused by RSS feed reader module? Does the error vanish when you unpublish the plugin? Did you try to insert other links to the module?

Yes. When i unpublish the module the error goes away.
I even tried other links but it gives same error.

bumping. Any help please.
Basically it creates JFTP::mkdir: Bad response error for each feed. So, if 10 feeds then it will show that error 10 times.
If I disable FTP from joomla configuration panel it gives me this error:
JFolder::create: Could not create directory
JFolder::create: Could not create directory
JFolder::create: Could not create directory

You have to correct the permission within the joomla cache folders differently the module cannot copy the rss feeds.

my cache folder is 777. Still it gives that error? What else permission I need to fix? Can you please tell me?

cache folder has already permission of 777. It still gives that error. i have the same issue that guy posted on the link.
