[Solved] Page will not load with module enabled was created by lanemotor
I'm having a strange problem that I have not been able to find a solution for in the forums (though I did find one other post that mentioned their website disappeared).
I recently downloaded the simple rss reader and tested it on a page within my site. Everything worked great- fast load, images came in perfectly, was able to update style. No problems.
So, once I was done tweaking everything I set the module to show on the home page of the website. However, with this module enabled the page will not load at all. Completely blank page. ??? As soon as I disable the module the page loads again without issues.
Any idea what could possibly cause this? The site can be found at www.lanemotormuseum.org
Thank you for any help!

Sorry but if the module is not enabled I cannot just guess the problem. Enable it and post me the error you get.

I understand. The problem is that when it is enabled there is no error message...it's just that the entire page won't load at all...completely stops the page.
I'm going to go ahead and enable this for a few minutes so you can see what I mean. Would you mind taking a look?
Just so you can see what I mean about how it works on another page yet won't allow the home page to load I enabled it in two places:
1) www.lanemotormuseum.org/ (which is currently a blank screen)
2) www.lanemotormuseum.org/fp-features/ (which now shows the module enabled as "Latest Blog Posts") For some reason it works fine here...
Thank you!

Check if you have conflict with another module-most possible- in this page. Just disable all the other extensions you have enabled and check if RSS works. If so, start enable them one by one to find which cause the problem...

That worked. Thank you so much for your help!! :D I thought I had disabled the ones that would cause trouble but I guess I didn't get them all...
As it turned out, it had a conflict because the joomla rss feeder (mod_feed) was also enabled on the page... I guess it didn't like multiple feeds?
But, it is working now and is such a huge improvement to the plain text links we were showing before!
THANK YOU!!
Vicki

Where did you put the module in your site?
