I'm sure this is probably simple, but I just installed this module and when I enabled it, I got a whole page full of errors.

They read:

* JFolder::create: Could not create directory
* JFolder::create: Could not create directory


Warning: mkdir() [function.mkdir]: Permission denied in /home/brennh/public_html/newsite/modules/mod_jw_srfr/helper.php on line 36

Warning: /home/brennh/public_html/newsite/cache/mod_jw_srfr/923742c495e28de1e33478e5fcd2624e.spc is not writeable in /home/brennh/public_html/newsite/modules/mod_jw_srfr/includes/simplepie/simplepie.inc on line 1785


...etc...etc... there's a lot of them.

I went in to my cpanel and changed the permission on the first couple files to 755, and then even 777, but it did not change these errors messages from showing up on the home page.

Any insight?

Anyone have any idea or should I look for a new module?

For anyone else that comes across this, I was able to get rid of 90% of the errors by hiding the favicon in the parameters section of the module.

I'm still left with 2 though if anyone wants to chime in:

You need to change the permissions of your joomla cache folder.
