Well, although their claim is interesting, there isn't much of a support structure in place ? It's also difficult (almost impossible) to find the extension per say ?
It seems to be developped by 3dwebdesign.org but I can't find the actual platinum version in there. They seem to have started a Ning network too but that seems to be a dead end.
Chris, could you tell us a little more about this ?
1- the URL of the product ?
2- Do you happen to know if it renders the images for k2 ?
3- Do you get proper support for this ?
Thanks so much for your help!
Danny

OK, I found the forum for this product. The administrator had actually responded to my thread which is a good sign :-)
He claims the images aren't rended yet but will be in a future release.

Hi, Danny,
Give Feed Gator a try. It has a plugin for importing RSS Feeds directly into K2 Categories and creates articles for each feed. Many features are included in the new Feed Gator. I am currently building a site that pulls news feeds from Thailand into K2 and it works perfectly.
Cheers
Dave

It will import images into the content body if the feed has an image. It will not put them into the Image tab if that is what you mean.

Ah, that's exactly what i mean :-)
I'm looking for an extension/component that will do that in order to avoid having to manipulate the data at all.

I imported a tremendous amount of articles from Joomla today and noticed that the images, while still in the article, were not migrated to the image tab. Make sense, especially if you have more than one image. Most of the articles only had one image, and the reason why it would be a great addition is that the ROK Stories module with K2 expects to use the image tab image, and not the image in the text of the story. Let me know when this is out. It will be very helpful.

Hi,
Sorry about the response time. Holiday season is always busy for us.
So if I understand, your component now imports RSS feeds into K2 completely (including processing the image to the K2 image tab) ?
Thanks,
Danny
