At this moment there is no import of pictures to the K2 image tab.

I send you in message that: if You buy one copy we develop this feature and in one working week you receive update.

Ultimately if there is one image then it should insert the one image into the image tab.  If there are multiple, it should insert the remainder in the image gallery tab.  I absolutely will buy when/if this feature comes out, but there is no need to buy until this time. 3D Web Design said:

Constantinos Griponisiotis, i already say to iDanny that the only way is to purchase one piece of component and new function will be ready in one working week. After this buyer will receive updated version on your email.

Note that we must know exact way of requested function before this (first image in content to k2 item photo or other).

P.S. Use coupon code joomladay2011 in order for 20% off. Organizers of Joomla Day event in Bulgaria this year are Joomla Bg and our company - 3D Web Design.

I know this is a very old thread.

Is Joomla Aggregator Platinum still a good way to take an RSS feed and turn it into K2 items with images?

Thanks! -- Steven

Hello Steven,

I personally used Feedgator with it;s K2 plugin + IAKI for importing K2 images and it worked fine.
The only downside was that it uses the first image in the item as a K2 image so curation is definitely needed.

Hello Krikor,
please explain IAKI...
The feedgator still works, but the imageproblem is still actual.
Rhanks.

IAKI will automatically add the first image in the content as a K2 image.

So far so clear - that would be great. But is it a component, or a plugin? I cannot find it in extensions.joomla.org/
