This is only 1 of 3 issues I have with K2.  It would not deter me from using it for my client's sake: www.primocraft.com  www.modellabs.com  www.therailingguy.com

one of the reasons i like k2 is that it saves me some time and code problems, but SVN2.5 does fix the multi category issue

That's great news!  Any idea when this will be an official release?

Warrick does have a good point, since i started out with joomla ive really had to learn a shed load of tricks to keep a system running!! i use wordpress just as much too. There is no subsitute for writing some good code and templates for yourself. I have custom coded loads of things into k2 which i have even spent the time adding to my installer versions to save me having to do it again and again. Taking the cookie cutter approach and planning ahead and loading in SVN2.5 has so far not caused me any major issues,

every time i have a major issue with some software it never takes me more than a few days to find a fix, getting good at diagnosis is a really good skill to have, waiting for someone else to fix it just leads to the dark side.. Warrick, just a thought being smug because others havent worked something out is never as nice as saying "have you tried doing this, i had much better results". people will actually think your not an arse.  take care all :)

I don't understand the point of Warrick's comments.  They are not constructive and seem more like flame posts.

1.  I am not a die hard k2 user.  I don't know why you think you know me.

2. K2 devs do need to do a much better job responding to users.

3. iweb is because the "the cobblers kids are the last to get shoes"  :-)

4. I am not a joomla developer.

5. So you are going to join the k2 community for one post and then unsubscribe?  I think that is the definition of "flame post".
