I don´t know. If it´s not to much for you, you can upload old ("working") copy of Joomla folder and database backup at some free file hosting site (as Rapidshare, as Zip or Rar). Name it something illogical and give me direct link at PM. (not public at forum).
I will send it back to you, same way, with updated and working K2 and Joomla.
I need to use Beyond Compare, etc..., and don´t like to mess with another people´s live sites and files.
If it wouldn´t work then you will know problem is hosting.
Afterwards you can change Admin and Mysql password, if you want to.
