I am thinking about something as mixed categories. One category of populated boxes (Users), second category of empty boxes.

And put module to take only last from those 2 categories.  (date and time).

(empty category will never have new Items, visitors wont know that)

 

This way you could maybe have different URL´s for thumbs (avatars). So when someone click at populated thumb, he/she will not get popup with registration form. Maybe they can get some modal box with User info.

Well if this IS possible, I would be willing to pay for this modification if you have the time to do it. Kindly let me know sir. Thanx in advance...

But it is same module. You can set URL just once. Or ?

In this calendar users can upload pictures. It has custom fields. remove from view dates and times and rest you don´t need.

Style it as you want. You have some mouseover popup. Believe it is easy to make it as click and modal box if you want.

 

To make long story short, change style and visitors will never notice it is a calendar.

In this you can have thumbs where users chose.

Hmmm - I see, I have looked at it but it doesnt look anywhere near as nice as K2, that`s the only problem...

I am trying to get an item open in a popUp window., from a category module, no images, just the title link.

I tried following BBC instruction but wasn't able to locate the piece of code in the category_item.php overwrite.

Any advice?
