I have been using the hidden menu item workaround for a while.

However, my latest site has way too many k2 categories. drjillgoldman.com

Once I hand this site over to the client, she will not be happy that she has to create a hidden menu item any time she creates a new k2 subcategory.

Has anyone figured out settings for k2 or sh404sef that will not require hidden menu items?
