Are there any Fatal Errors in your error_log?
Even if they seem unrelated to the issue.

ive tried to uninstall all K2 components from the extensions manager, there is one in particular that will not uninistall, which is on link to screenshot below.

when trying to uninstall, i get the same white blank screen

do you think this may have a link to the reason why i cannot save any K2 item since only moving my site to a new hosting platform (old was hostroute vps / now joomlawired shared)

I think at this point you should ask that extension's developer about known issues.
It could be an outdated version or a simple fix might be needed.

This might just be a coinicidence - considering i still cannot save K2 items with this filter module disabled.

So to confirm, this isnt bundled with K2 install? Your saying its something my original website developers have added on?

Also, the only way i have been able to completely remove the white screen error on saving, is to completely uninstall K2 and then reinstall. HOWEVER - massive problem is that it removes all the K2 content! Please say this isnt suppose to happen... or there is a way around this? If there is a way around it, i see you make alot of references in this forum to "a re-install of K2 should fix this" - some guidelines would be very useful to aid this process.

Yes, this extension and the plg_searcher_k2 are not part of K2's core.

If you remove the component, then you will lose your content.
Reinstalling is not the same as uninstalling. You simply install it on top.

ah ok, and the best way to reinstall is to just upload the downloaded zip content / or override via FTP?

I'm just come to share because I have the same issue. You need to go to see error_log under administrator folder and see your errors. FYI My problem is "PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of..". So, it is my server problem. Hope this help
