Using Allvideo. When disabling it problem remains. See another site
booksbybobbi.com/about-bobbi

There is no data in Media. When turning off Media in category it no longer shows in the item.
I also noticed that now Media is showing in Category view.
booksbybobbi.com/policies

I hope the issue is isolated soon, so I can update all my sites (over 30) using K2.

Same issue here, but without the update to 2.9 (haven't done the update yet).
Host is SiteGround too.

@Stephan I think I've solved it permanently. Can you please install v2.9.1 (dev) directly from github.com/getk2/k2/archive/master.zip and let me know? Make sure you clean your site's cache before checking the frontend.

Just for info, issue is solved on my 2 websites at Siteground but also on my local MAMP for a Joomla 3.9 Beta test

In the process, I generally improved how plugins are imported in K2.

If you grab the repo zip and install it from this message and onwards, you'll have these improvements in.

Looks like we're going for K2 2.9.1 final this week :)

Just to follow on from your last message here, just wondering if you have an estimated release date for a final stable version of K2 2.9.1. We've got a lot of sites to update but don't want to install the dev Github version on them all and have been holding off for the stable version.

Tomorrow's the day :)

I held it off as I've done some additional performance improvements for sites using InnoDB in MySQL/MariaDB. Some last minutes check tomorrow and it's out.

I'm guessing that the checks didn't go so well Fotis since there's been no release yet. I don't mean to pester you about it or hurry you but just wondering if you have any other timeframe updates just so we can look into scheduling all the updates in.

Actually it was illness :(

Returning tomorrow with a few final changes before I finalize 2.9.1.

The good news is that there are major performance improvements, especially if you use MySQL 5.6+ and InnoDB for storage.
