Hi, I am new to this SIG Pro programme but it appears to have loaded correctly into my Joomla site and I am able to generate galleries without a problem, except for the captions.
The text files are not being generated. I have read previous posts and have set all folder permissions to 777.  I have created new folders and uploaded images to them after I have put the line of code into an article.  I have enabled the 'default caption (labels) handling parameter to 'read contents of caption files' but still the text files are not being generated.  I have disabled the free version of this programme that I have installed.  Can you please advise as to what else I can try?

Is your server in IIS or Linux?

Try creating another folder with only one image in it and with extension .jpg in lowercase letters (not .JPG as you have now). Is the labels.txt file created then?

I believe that you didn't change permissions to the images/stories folder since the beggining of the post (when you said that you had them in 777).

Let me know of the results.

Have followed your instructions but stiil the labels.txt file is not created.

The creation of the file labels.txt is done with the php command fopen. If this command doesn't work properly, the system returns a warning message to your browser. In your case we don't see any of those messages.

Could you please check if the error reporting of your site is enabled?
If it is, could you send us the part of the log file (error.log) that has to do with the fopen command?

It is important for us so we can undestand and locate the problem.

I have PM'd you with the error log.

From the log file it seems that you are using SIG (SIG uses jwsig.php file) and not SIG Pro, while we also saw that you are using SIG Pro. Locate an error that says fopen or jw_sigpro.php to the log.
