I am running Image Gallery Pro version 2.0.5 The latest Jooomla 1.5 release and k2 version 2.2
I have never used the Image gallery Pro within K2 so whern I tried to use it
by uploading the zip file I see nothing in the front.
Yes the plugin is enabled and the root path is images/stories
when I upload the images where do they go?
Whats the procedure do i still have to add {gallery}MyGallery{/gallery} Im just nt sure where the images are being loaded to. I imagined the images are loaded into the images/stories directory but the when I checked the images did not appear and there was no new folder. I imagined a new folder would have been created with the same name as the .zip file in the root directory "images/stories" but Nothing can someone explain to me what i am doing wrong. thanks a million. Is there a tutorial on using this extension with K2.

The images are uploaded to the path: media/k2/galleries. Check if the images you uploaded are there and if not check the folder's permissions.

there is no galleries folder inside media/k2/

could that be the issue?

Should the permissions be 777?
or 775?

There should be the following folders inside media/k2 folder:

attachments
categories
galleries
items
users
videos

If you don't have any of these folders then you should update K2, because these folders are placed inside the media folder when installing the component. The folders permissions are better as 755 and the files as 644.

OK I reinstalled and the directories are there now but the images are not loading into the Galleries directory.
Any Ideas?

I uploaded a zip file with 3 jpg images and they uploaded fine. I saw the thumbnails at the backend and the frontend. You can see for yourself.
