Problem with K2 and Image Gallery Pro - No thumbnails was created by vonzie64
I just purchased the ImageGalleryPro plugin. I seem to be having the same issue as a lot of folks, in that my thumbnails are not showing up on the site. I have changed the default image directory to media/k2/galleries. I have also read a ton of posts about this issue. My website is www.mwtest1.info. Let me know what I need to do. Thanks,

The default image directory is if you want to use the gallery as tags inside the item and therefore should stay as images/stories.
When you upload the zip file of images do you see the images at the backend or inside the folder media/k2/galleries?

The images do go to the media/k3/galleries directory. They are stored as numbered directories. I did try adding the {gallery}name{/gallery}in the content section and it works fine.
I did change the jwsigpro.php to this: $galleries_rootfolder = ($params->get('galleries_rootfolder')) ? $params->get('galleries_rootfolder') : $pluginParams->get('galleries_rootfolder','media/k2');
This was based on another thread I had read.

So you say that you see the images inside the media/k2/galleries folder and you still cannot see them to your site, right?
Could you PM me access to your administration along with an item in which I could perform some testing?

If you find a solution to this I would be interested since I have the same symptoms: I load an image and an image gallery. I get no error messages and I can see the images in the numbered folders in media/k2/galleries, but they don't appear on the site or in the backend.

I had the same issue, but the solution was quit simple. Before uploading the images in the backend, I put them all in a folder, and compressed that folder to a .zip. Uploading worked, but the images weren't showed in the backend or frontend.
I tried compressing the images to a .zip, WITHOUT putting them in a folder, and it worked.
So maybe you should try that.

I am having the same problem. I can upload images (you do have to watch those file names) when they are named properly and they show up in the image gallery tab on the back end in the K2 item editor panel.
BUT...they show up as a blank box when viewed on the front end. They have a click to view image text and when you click the image it does appear large in the popup window, however, I need the image to show like it should on the front end small in gallery view like the plugin works when you use in with manual tags in content.
Here's a live link (the site is very bare bones, lots to do but want to get the bugs ironed out before I do any real work here).

I can provide access if you think you have a fix and need to try implementing it.
Thanks in advance for any assistance and suggestions on getting this cool feature to work properly.
