[Solved] Image showing but not thumbnail appears blank. Just a blank rectangle. was created by Francis Darren

Hi guys, I've been trying to solve this for hours. I have tried looking through the FAQ, the web as well as this forum.

I have tried setting the cache to 0.
Renaming the images with no underscore what so ever.
Different sizes.
Renaming the folder.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled.
I have checked the permissions for the cache and plugin folder. Both are set to 755.

My server is running on php 5.2.11.

Strangely, I see a blank thumbnail. However, it is clickable and my image displays correctly when I click the thumbnail.

I have used this plugin for another site of mine at its fine.

Please help. Thanks!

Solved.

I too would be curious as to how you solved this issue.

I have given plugins 755 images are at 777. Not sure if GD is installed. Just checking with my hosting.

Template is new architect.

Edit: GD latest is installed.

I'm having this problem, too.

It would be helpful if solutions were listed when they are found.

I'm just installed the new SIG 2.0 in a Joomla 1.5.22 site and just trying to hook up to the fruit gallery.

I'm tech editing a book using this plug-in and have to verify it's working...

Make sure that you do not use caps, gaps, slashes or other special elements in the names of your images.
