Hello, this thread is great!

Back to couple of weeks ago, when I installed SIG Free for the first time, I cannot see any thumb and any image displayed on my content page site (it's remote site not local). Thanks to this forum, now i can see the image.

But still I have lost the thumb images?? How come? I already made dir change on showthumb.php and jwsig.php (I choose not to change jwsig TO jw_sig and make some changes on the admin and component scripts as mentioned above).

Anyone found and fix up the problem yet? Thanks.

This is weird.... The page keep loading. I use Mozilla ver3.6.3

Any conflict with Re-Captcha module? Cause I use this for anti-spam comment. Are they regenerate the same JS? Cause I cannot see Re-Captcha yet, and it keep loading on and on ...

This shouldn't be a nightmare that it has turned into!
I use Simple Image Gallery PRO 204.4 and K2 2.2 and I get a blank screen when try to upload an image.

Please help!

I found out through my host that it wasn't K2 at all!
Your hosting provider has to enable the Shell_exec on their server.
My host said they have it disabled for security reasons and that uploading images through K2 triggered an exe function, which was blocked.
They have enabled it and it is working great now!

Hi. Obviously this had to do with your hosting provider. But in any case it has not to do with exe functions! I just wanted to clarify this in order to avoid further confusion.

So after much trial and error, this is what worked for me...

1.) Add these to your file plugins/content/ with the three below attached files -- these are the "jw_sig.php, jw_sig.xml, and jwsig.php"
2.) Change the path of the thumbnails in plugins/content/plugin_jw_sig/showthumb.php change line #15 to this:
$_image_ = '../../../media/k2/galleries/'.$_GET;

And bing, works! :)

Not sure how, but it did for me!

I have the same problem with SIG. I have download the plugin_jw_sig-v1.2.1r2_j1.5.zip and I have bought also the Simple Image Gallery PRO (by JoomlaWorks). On the K2 information tab I can see the "Simple Image Gallery Plugin Not installed" Which is installed. Also I have uploaded the images in the zip file to the item and I can't see the Gallery to the front of item. On the administration k2 I can see the uploaded images normally to the item.

Hi. The free version of SIG is not yet supported by K2. If you have bought the SIG Pro version make sure that you are using the latest version of it (version 2.0.5).
