K2 ver 2.6.7 - 500 error

Though i updated my test site from 2.6.6 succesffully, the production updated failed.
I'm getting the 500 error.
I'm running Joomla! 2.5.14
It's clearly a k2 bug, as I have been using k2 for some years now and never had this error before.
I had to downgrade to 2.6.6 (I just installed 2.6.6 over 2.6.7 - hope this is ok) to make my site functional again. Anyone have tried to fix this?
Thank you.

I quote myself as in my case the fault is with jv-postmaster plugin. If I disable it, everything works fine.
So it is not a K2 problem.

I read all of the posts here and thought I would go through my plugins to see if any where causing the problem. I disabled the K2 plugins one by one and found one to be the cause for me. I found K2 Plugin - One css per K2 template to be the problem. By disabling this plugin I can now add k2 items.

I solved it by disabling an older K2 plugin:
K2 - Republish This Article v2.5.0
It appears that plugin has not been updated to stay current with K2 and caused some kind of conflict.
Whew...only wasted an hour on this problem.
