can't accesss items area - sql error 1191

Category: English K2 Community

Hi,

The latest K2 does not include this kind of query. So you are either not using the latest version or a third-party plugin is making this query.

can't accesss items area - sql error 1191

Category: English K2 Community

Now anything I try to access in the admin area gives me a 404 - this has happened multiple times over the past six months and i can't get any help on this forum.

I made a database backup before this happened, restored the db but it's not working.

I need you guys to please look at my files, me db, something to help. deadline is today and admin area is doa.

Thank you for your help

Edit - must have been a caching thing? waited about an hour, then re uploaded the good db and things are working again... any idea what's causing this? Also, sorry for my tone above, freaking out a bit over here...

Category: English K2 Community

Hi,
Using the latest k2 and Joomla 3.0
I was in administrator > components > k2 > items and typed something in the search field.

I now get this error when attempting to access the items area:

1191 Can't find FULLTEXT index matching the column list SQL=SELECT COUNT(*) FROM cvyse_k2_items AS i WHERE trash=0 AND MATCH( title ) AGAINST ('+events*' IN BOOLEAN MODE)

edit - can't use the search filter at all without getting this error

Thanx for your help

[SOLVED] uninstall of K2 results in error 1146 - FIXED

Category: English K2 Community

I just migrated my entire k2 site from Joomla 1.5 to Joomla 3.x. Then I used foobla to migrate all the content to Joomla content manager. Everything worked great. Then I uninstalled K2 (sorry, but the clients don't want it)...

Now I am screwed. When I go to the joomla content manager I get an error:

1146 Table 'db78299_seij3.u8jqh_k2_items' doesn't exist SQL=SELECT COUNT(*) AS count FROM u8jqh_k2_items

I can't interact with any of my content as the remainder of the page is blank. Here's what I've tried:
  • I confirmed that all K2 modules/plugins have been uninstalled.
  • I confirmed that no modules exist that are trying to load K2 items or categories
  • In extension manager I confirmed that there are no errors
  • In php my admin I ran a database repair
  • I cleared my cache

Thoughts? Ideas?

For some reason the Joomla content manager is trying to load something from a non-existent k2 table.

Installing Problems

Category: English K2 Community

Hello Krikor,

thank you. I have to tell you what happened. The Homepage I've create were first on a test server. With akeeba backup and akeeba kickstart I've load the page on the right server. There were first some problems but than it works.

Now I've tried your proposal. It doesn't install the Admin Tools. I think there is something wrong … perhaps it is the provider? I've installed the Admin Tools on my test server. It works and the permissions are 755 and 644. I think they are correct. I've installed the K2 there but now it is new error

1146 Table 'db146234x2188236.dq6m9_k2_categories' doesn't exist SQL=SHOW FULL COLUMNS FROM `dq6m9_k2_categories`

sql error 1064 just sometimes !!

Category: English K2 Community

Hi...

Please help me out of this problem....

When i select an item from the menu it show

1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ') GROUP BY comments.itemID' at line 11 SQL=SELECT content.id AS id, COUNT(comments.itemID) AS count FROM guzto_k2_items AS content LEFT JOIN guzto_k2_comments AS comments ON comments.itemID = content.id WHERE comments.published AND ( ) GROUP BY comments.itemID ;

even if the item is a wrapper.

if you are on the startpage and select from the left module any item.. then you got the message.... but if you select the last menu item and any of the subitems the site works even the left module selections... which was not working in startpage....

I don't really know if you understand me but you have to visit the site and make the selections...

the k2 is 2.6.9 and joomla is 3.2.3

Best Regards

Try to replace the file plugins/search/k2/k2.php with this file: github.com/joomlaworks/k2/blob/master/plugins/search/k2.php . Let me know if that solves your issue.

Hi,

Disabling the tags in the K2 search plugin did solve the problem for now, so thank you for your input. However we obviously would like to keep searching in K2 tags because we do not add tags for no reason :)

So if anyone has a solution that let's us keep searching using K2 tags I'd gladly hear it.

error 1064

Category: English K2 Community

Hello.

Suddenly editing from the frontend stopped working. Though it had been working before.

1064
YOU HAVE AN ERROR IN YOUR SQL SYNTAX; CHECK THE MANUAL THAT CORRESPONDS TO YOUR MYSQL SERVER VERSION FOR THE RIGHT SYNTAX TO USE NEAR 'AND TRASH = 0' AT LINE 1 SQL=SELECT MAX(ORDERING) FROM M8KYX_K2_ITEMS WHERE CATID = AND TRASH = 0

I have read similar messages on the forum and in most cases the error was caused by some other extensions. But I can't imaging what it could be in my case. I did not install anything in between it had been working and it stopped.

MySQL Error on use Joomla search module

Category: English K2 Community

Hi,

My website suddenly gives an SQL error when I try to search on it. The error:

1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'AND published=1' at line 1 SQL=SELECT id FROM #__k2_tags WHERE LOWER(name) LIKE AND published=1

The website:
NVRO

I have no idea why this error is suddenly popping up and currently I have no idea how to fix it. I have googled a bunch but no one seems to have had this particular error

Hopefully someone here can help, many thanks in advance.

500 internal Server Error

Category: English K2 Community

500 server error is the most annoying error to troubleshoot since it can be anything. It really means that 'something' caused an error on your web server and the server logs should tell you what it is. if you are not familiar with checking out the server logs, note down the time you saw the error on your site and ask your hosting provider to send you the extract of server logs for that time period. You need to take a look at Apache log, php log and mysql log. That will tell you what the reason was.
